Rainow Curiosities

Pictures of some of the 2005 "scarecrows" in Rainow village Cheshire. The village of Rainow is situated on the edge of the Peak District Nation Park and is surrounded by some of the counties most significant areas of outstanding natural beauty. Every year the village hosts a jaunty little escapade where much of the setting is decorated with anthropomorphic figures largely constructed with improvised scarecrow techniques and range from the comic through to the risqué and sometimes sinister.
