Middlewood Cherry
Did a long ride up to Hayfield, Derbyshire, yesterday. Nature is still not quite in full flow yet however, there were a few cherry trees in blossom on the Middlewood way, not sure if these are blackthorns? Very pretty brilliant white flowers on mostly non foliated twigs though tiny green shoots were beginning to appear. It was my second long-ish ride since overhauling my bike – no problems, lovely quiet and smooth!
