Artwork seen in Manchester
It was impossible to miss this homage to the film Kez painted (yes it looked like it was handy work) on the side of a van. It immediately struck me as a good subject and one that was going to be black and white! I took a lot of pictures of urban art and graffiti on this expedition – mostly in a secret location near Manchester. There is quite a collection of interesting work all around. Some of it appeared to be commercially sanctioned and other pieces more clandestine but all interesting.
I will be adding more from this shoot soon but this time decided to give some of the pix their own blog post rather than clumping many very disparate images together into a single post – which is always dominated by the featured image.
