New energy efficient homes in Prestbury
An odd new architecture comes to the village. A collection of new build houses off Heybridge Lane in Prestbury, Cheshire represent a cutting edge of contemporary domestic architecture and energy efficient construction. These new buildings seem to generate a very mixed response with some locals not liking these unusual dark structures and others claiming them to an interesting step forward for local architecture.
I gather that the black top section is intended to enhance thermal inertia and helps to absorb and retain heat.
