The lighthouse (and beach) at New Brighton on a cold October evening. My colleague, the tiny dot on the right, is almost lost in the landscape. He was filming a time-lapse of the sun setting over Wallasey. This location is one of the gateways to the Irish Sea and just to the right of the shot is a very busy shipping lane, heavily used by Anglo Irish ferry and commercial vehicle transporters.
I quite enjoyed photographing this open aspect which makes a change from the more hilly terrain of my locality.
