Free Palestine marches in Manchester

Pro Palestine, Manchester

The pro Palestine or Free Palestine march has been a regular occurrence in Manchester for the last few months. The procession is organised by the GM (Greater Manchester) Friends of Palestine group and possibly others are involved also? It was a good natured event. Occasionally, the Free Palestine group is met by a pro Israel counter protest; mostly citing the plight of the Israeli hostages. However, on the 17th the Northwest Friends of Israel didn’t turn out but I wanted to get some pix of them for balance. As the GMFP protest made its way along Deansgate most of the bystanders enjoying alfresco dining opportunities seemed to be quite enthralled by the sometimes very noisy procession.
