Icy conditions 2020
Returning to some photos from the equally icy and cold winter of 2020. This year (2024) we are having similar but not quite so dramatic conditions in Prestbury at least, much more dramatic up in the hills as always though. I have taken very few pictures this winter though I have a small handful to process and mostly from the Bollin Valley way and mostly close-up studies of frosted plants. Conditions this year are treacherous to say the least with many local roads not having been gritted and hard super frozen ice like crunchy glass forming over night – very dangerous conditions for those of us on two wheels!
