A poignant visit to see relatives in Dover
A somewhat belated post of a select handful of pictures taken whilst in Dover during February 2023. This was for the sad occasion of my paternal uncle’s funeral and a rare opportunity to meet familiar and some not so familiar relatives.
In the morning I decided to have stroll (with camera) along the sea front and heading generally in the direction of the ferry terminal. I only wish I had the opportunity to stay a little longer and explore the magnificent sight of the towering chalk cliffs a little further to the east.
There wasn’t an awful lot else to photograph other than some stencil graffiti art by Hen Dog with a geographically topical theme of immigration and refuge.
