Introduction

Manchester & Cheshire, UK based creative photographer / blogger with an interest in fine art photography, documentary, and archival work. Often exploring local history themes in Cheshire and Derbyshire settings. I now mostly work in digital media though for many years I was (and still am) a keen advocate of chemistry based photography and darkroom processes. Sometimes I like to think that my photography reflects a certain fascination for the qualities of artistic geometric forms and the curious effects of over observation.

I have published an online photography blog since 1997 and all content (written & visual) is original, authentic, and free from any AI interventions.

Film & Video

I am an experienced videographer and film / video editor with a diverse range of broadcast and indi credits and keen to maintain an involvement in film making, either as a crew member, or an on-location photographer. I have more than 20 years experience in many other aspects of AV tech including live events and sound studio work.
